Here at Sims Lake you'll most likely meet some folks from Kansas City, and Lee's Summit Inn & Suites is a tremendous place to get some rest. This lake is so wonderful. There's so much to do here at Sims Lake that you need to camp here for a while, Peculiar Park Place is a wonderful site for that, unsurprisingly you could also explore Lake Winnebago if       you're here; it's not far at all. If you need a place to stay Comfort Inn Lees Summit is a wonderful choice, and a round of golf at nearby Country Creek Golf Club is a good way to kill some time. For the period of the summer highs here at Sims Lake reach the 80's; during summer nights temperatures are in the 60's. The winter comes with highs in the 30's, and after the sun is down through the winter temperatures at Sims Lake drop into the 10's. If you want a                  good time in the great outdoors, just come on down to Sims Lake. A lake nearby is Uhlmann Lake; there's always Sims Lake Dam to take a look at close to Sims Lake.
