This lake is so wonderful. A delightful nearby hotel is Americas Best Value Inn/Perryville, and this vicinity is dominated by the Mine Hills. And that's not all the things to do here in the Ozarks. A lake nearby is Perco Lakes, and Coleman Hollow is around here, and is a good site. This lake is so wonderful. An out of the ordinary thing to check out in the neighborhood of Silver Lake is Hickory Hollow Lake       Dam; going for a hike on the John J Audubon Trail is always a magnificent adventure. Just can't get enough of the Ozarks. If you came for an overnight stay Perryville/Cape Girardeau KOA is a great location to camp; get yourself into a kayak and hit Pickle Creek. The annual rain here at Silver Lake is about average; throughout the month of May you get the most rain around here; January meanwhile is the driest month. Mine Hills can be observed from Silver Lake,                  and camping is available at K O A Kampgrounds. High temperatures at Silver Lake all through the summertime are in the 80's. Summer nighttime lows dip down to the 60's. The winter comes with highs in the 30's, and overnight lows through the wintertime for Silver Lake tend to be in the 10's. But wait, there's more to do next to Silver Lake. Get soaked paddling on Castor River, and Comfort Inn Perryville is a great site to get some rest.
