Lakes are fine; Shy Lake 2 is a lake that's in the vicinity of Shy Dam, and a magnificent place to visit close by is Cedar Spring Hollow. All the outdoors entertaining things in the Ozarks will keep you coming back again and again. Camping at Sam A Baker State Park is always a magnificent experience; you're probably keen on lakes, Chain of Lakes is one of those close by. A large amount of rainfall falls at Shy       Dam; March is when you get the most rain here, and the driest month is January. This lake is so wonderful. If the weather is splendid here at Shy Dam, you can go for a hike along the Taum Sauk Trail, and you can have a great hiking adventure along the Crane Lake Trail. There are some wonderful whitewater spots on Crane Pond Creek, and Shy Dam is fine enough to spend more than a day at, Big Creek RV Park is a fine local campground. This lake is so wonderful.                  Going for a hike along the Johnson Natural Area Backpack Trail will let you absorb the natural beauty of this neighborhood; getting to Black Creek from Shy Dam is simple. The Ozarks scenery is always beautiful. Summertime highs at Shy Dam usually tend to be in the 90's while night lows are usually in the 60's. The winter brings highs down to the 40's, and night lows in the 10's for Shy Dam. Not enough hours in a day to enjoy the Ozarks. At Shy Dam you can see Des Arc Mountain, and a delightful close by hotel is Farmington - Days Inn. Having a fine time at Shy Dam is simple.
