This is a delightful region for people who like lakes. Lower Reservoir is a lake in the neighborhood, and why not camp at Parks Bluff Campground since you're here at Sherwood Forest Lake. During the summer highs here at Sherwood Forest Lake reach the 80's; the night is a tad chillier of course, usually in the 60's. Highs through the wintertime are frequently in the 40's with temperatures at Sherwood Forest Lake dipping down into the       20's throughout winter nights. That right there is loads of cool stuff already but it goes on, the Ozarks has it all. Sherwood Forest Lake is right by the Trace Creek Trail, and Black River - East Fork is a great whitewater spot close by. This lake is so wonderful. Super 8 Potosi is a magnificent location to get some rest; why not a little side journey to Baker Branch. Sherwood Forest Lake is a wet place that gets a large amount of rainfall; most of the rain                  falls all through November while January is regularly the driest month. Yep, outdoors entertaining things to do are truly bountiful here at Sherwood Forest Lake. Hiking along the Crane Lake Trail is glorious fun; in the event that you don't mind getting wet, you can always go whitewater paddling on Taum Sauk Creek. You'll in fact wish for more hours in a day to enjoy all the cool stuff in the Ozarks.
