The warmest time of the year brings highs in the 80's to Scotts Pond, and during the night it cools down to the 60's. The winter brings highs down to the 30's with temperatures at Scotts Pond dipping down into the 10's through winter nights. This lake is so wonderful. Scotts Pond is located in the Ozarks. If the weather is brilliant here at Scotts Pond, you can go for a hike along       the Cedar Bluff Trail; obviously, this is a great vicinity for people who like lakes, Frisco Lake is a lake in the vicinity. If you want a great time in the great outdoors just come on up to the Ozarks. A magnificent nearby hotel is Hampton Inn; why not visit close by Burgher Branch while you're here at Scotts Pond. These mountains rock, just look at all the fun things to do in the Ozarks. Scotts Pond is a spot with many visitors from Rolla, and you don’t                  have to go far from Scotts Pond to catch a glimpse of the water at Scotts Pond Dam. You'll wish for more hours in a day to enjoy all the amusing things at Scotts Pond. There's so much to do here at Scotts Pond that you need to camp here for a while, Arlington River Resort is a perfect place for that, and there is a splendid hiking trail close by called the Kaintuck Trail. A typical amount of rain falls here at Scotts Pond; May is the wettest month with most rain, and January is the month with the least moisture. This lake is so wonderful. If you need a location to stay Drury Inn Rolla is a great choice; if you're here you can play some golf at Oak Meadow Country Club.
