This lake is so wonderful. Sandifer Lake is near Russel Sandifer Dam which is a lovely place positively worth stopping at, and Sandifer Lake is fine enough to spend more than a day at, The Landing is a fine local campground. And that's not all you can do here at Sandifer Lake. A tremendous place to camp here at Sandifer Lake is Hillbillys Campground & Genera; you can run the rapids of North River. Going for a hike on the Hickory       Bluff Trail is always a nice adventure; after a long day outdoors Quality Inn & Suites is a nice place to spend a night or two. For the period of the warm days of summer highs here at Sandifer Lake get into the 80's while nighttime lows are ordinarily in the 60's. The wintertime comes with highs in the 30's, and after the sun is down through the winter temperatures at Sandifer Lake descend into the 10's. You could also pop by Gottman Lake while you're here at                  Sandifer Lake; it's close by; there are plenty of folks from Hannibal here at Sandifer Lake.
