Saint Marys Lake is a great lake in an area with lots of outdoors fun all around. Life's too short to enjoy all the entertaining things in close proximity to Saint Marys Lake. A wonderful nearby hotel is Comfort Inn Perryville; as expected Sandy Branch flows through this area. From a rain point of view Saint Marys Lake is a pretty typical place; through the month of May you get the most rain around here, and the driest month is January. The Ozarks scenery is

Man, is there plenty of exciting things to do in the Ozarks. Park Spring is a charming place to stop at while you're at Saint Marys Lake, and get yourself into a kayak and hit Castor River. This lake is so wonderful. A lake close by is Perry County Community Lake, and Perryville/Cape Girardeau KOA is a wonderful local campground. Super 8 Motel - Perryville is a magnificent site to get some rest, and on a nice day you can take a hike along the John J Audubon Trail. If you came for an overnight stay K O A Kampgrounds
is a wonderful site to camp, and at Marys Lake Dam near Saint Marys Lake there are some interesting things to see. High temperatures at Saint Marys Lake during the days of summer are in the 80's while overnight lows are frequently
in the 60's. Throughout the winter highs are in the 30's, and nighttime lows at Saint Marys Lake through the winter ordinarily dip into the 10's.
