Caplinger Mills River Front Resort is a nice local campground, and nearby Ritchson Hollow is a great location to go. For the duration of the warm months here at Sac River Reservoir, high temperatures regularly get into the 90's. For the period of the moonlight hours it's mostly in the 60's. The wintertime comes with highs in the 30's, and winter nights come with lows in the 10's to Sac River Reservoir. All the water falling down from the       sky makes Sac River Reservoir a wet location; the month of June is the wettest with most of the rain while January is the month with the least amount of precipitation. Sac River Reservoir is a glorious place to visit for more than one day, Arrowhead Point is a glorious place to camp nearby, and since you might be in a lake visiting mood you can always check out close by Hickman Lake. And that's not all there is to do here in the Ozarks. If you need a spot                  to stay Parkfield Inn Clinton is a brilliant choice, and there's some interesting stuff to see at Caplinger Mills Dam next to Sac River Reservoir. This is no place for people who don’t like to enjoy themselves. A great nearby hotel is Super 8 Bolivar. Sac River Reservoir is located in the Ozarks.
