Life's too short to enjoy all the cool stuff in the Boston Mountains. Days Inn Hardy is a fine site to get some rest, also S Jones Lake Dam is worth taking a look at while you're here. This lake is so wonderful. Dry warm beds await you at Best Western Village Inn; soar       down the rapids of Spring River in a kayak. This lake is located in the wonderful Boston Mountains. Why not camp at Riverside Resort Camp & Canoe if you're here at S Jones Lake, and unsurprisingly, this is a wonderful region for folks who like lakes, Elmer Shaw Junior Lake is a lake in close proximity. That right there is plenty already, but it goes on; S Jones Lake has it all. Camping is available at Woody's Canoe Rental and Campground; Buck Hollow is nearby,                  and is a delightful spot. For the period of the warm days of summer, highs frequently are in the 90's at S Jones Lake. Once the sun is down it descends down to the 60's. Through the wintertime the highs are typically in the 40's, and during the dark hours in the wintertime at S Jones Lake temperatures drop to the 10's. The high level of rainfall makes S Jones Lake a pretty wet site; of all the months in a year May is the one with the most rain, and the driest month of the year is January.
