After a long day outdoors Holiday Inn POPLAR BLUFF is a brilliant place to spend a night or two, and Crum Lake is a nearby lake that you could explore. A delightful location to have a look at in the neighborhood of Roper Lake is Gum Spring       Hollow. Man, is there plenty of fun stuff to do in the Ozarks. A quick visit to Mill Creek near Roper Lake is a great idea; Roper Lake is a great spot to visit for more than one day, Bullwinkle's Rustic Lodge and RV Park is a great spot to camp nearby. SUPER 8 MOTEL - POPLAR BLUFF is a glorious spot to get some rest; you can go for a hike on the Boardwalk Nature Trail. This lake is so wonderful. Here at Roper Lake there are plenty of folks from Poplar                  Bluff; do have a look at Lake Wappapello, it's a beautiful lake. Just can't get enough of Roper Lake. Davis Camp is a good local campground; there are glorious sites to discover along the Lost Creek Nature Trail. Summertime highs at Roper Lake commonly tend to be in the 80's. Through the dark hours of summer temperatures drop down into the 60's. The winter comes with highs in the 40's, and after the sun is down through the wintertime temperatures at Roper Lake fall into the 10's. Roper Lake is one of the lakes here in the Ozarks. This lake is so wonderful. Going for a hike on the Pine Ridge Nature Trail is always a great adventure, and Roper Lake Dam is a picturesque site, positively worth taking a look at. You definitely should fancy the Ozarks.
