From a rainfall point of view Rogers Lake is a reasonably common place; May is when you get the most rain here, and the driest of the months is January. Kansas River is a good whitewater spot right next door to Rogers Lake. Lakes are fine; Roberts Lake is a lake that's close to Rogers Lake. The skiing at Snow Creek is nice, and during your tour here you'll meet some folks from St. Joseph for sure. At Rogers Lake throughout       the warmest time of the year highs are in the 80's; the overnight is quite chillier of course, ordinarily in the 60's. All through the winter this place gets highs in the 30's with temperatures at Rogers Lake dipping down into the 10's during winter nights. This lake is so wonderful. This lake is so wonderful. Take a side trip to Murray Branch, and camping at Oak Lane Campground is always a great experience. After a long day outdoors Platte City, Missouri,                  Travelodge is a brilliant place to spend a night or two, and if you need a site to stay Comfort Inn Kansas City International Airport is a good choice. Enjoy a round of golf at Shiloh Springs Golf Club not far from Rogers Lake; Rogers Lake Dam has perfect water scenery. Yeah, come here to Rogers Lake for a perfect time.
