Do stop by Rockwood Hills Lake while you're in this part of Missouri. This lake is so wonderful. A picturesque lake like McDonald Lake in the vicinity of Rockwood Hills Lake is a tremendous spot to check out, and Branson's Deer Run Resort is a pleasant local campground. Moonshine Beach, and if you're here you can play some golf at Don Gardner Par 3 Golf Course. Visiting Buffalo National River is just something you need to do if you haven't yet; a nice nearby hotel is Welk Resort Branson.
