Leonardwood, Mo is a perfect location to get some rest; close by you come across the Big Piney Trail which is a pleasant hiking trail. This lake is so wonderful. Roby Lake is a great site to visit for more than one day, Paddy Creek Campground is a great site to camp nearby, and you can go for a hike on the Slabtown                  Bluff Trail. Not enough hours in a day to enjoy this site. Roby Lake gets a great deal of water; May is the wettest month with most rain, and January is the month with the least moisture.
