At Riss Lake Dam near Riss Lake there are some exciting things to see, and why not take a little journey to Nearman Creek since you're here. You're sure to run into some nice folks from Kansas City here, obviously you could also visit Adkison Lake since you're here; it's not far at all. After a long day outdoors Super 8 Kansas City KCI Airport is a good site to spend a night or two; paddling on Kansas River is so much fun.

| | through the warmest time of the year are in the 90's with nighttime lows in the 60's. The cold days of the winter come with highs in the 30's with winter lows in the 10's overnight here at Riss Lake. A golf course right next door to Riss Lake is National Golf Club; the slopes of Snow Creek are so inviting nobody can resist. This lake is so wonderful. Life's too short to enjoy all the amusing stuff near Riss Lake. Parkville Bend is a great location to stop by while in the area, and Riss Lake is a glorious site to visit for more than one day, Woodland Acres is a glorious
site to camp nearby. Riss Lake is a good site of normal rain; the month with most of the rain is May, and the driest month is February. This lake is so wonderful. La Quinta Inn and Suites Kansas City Airport is a tremendous place to get some rest, and you can stay the night at Walnut Grove RV Park.
