Rainbow Lake is a very beautiful lake in beautiful surroundings. The Ozarks scenery is always beautiful. If only every place had this much outdoors entertaining things, what a great world it would be. Rainbow Lake is nice enough to spend more than a day at, St Joe State Park is a nice local campground, and Rainbow Lake Dam is a lovely location, definitely worth stopping at. Rainbow Lake gets a common amount of rain; the month with most of the rain is May, and

| | February is the month with the least moisture.
This lake is so wonderful. The sight of stunning Beehive Knob near Rainbow Lake is good; why not take a refreshing hike along the John J Audubon Trail. Whitewater paddling is not for everyone but if it's for you then we recommend Castor River, and you'll hit upon a pretty lake called Lake Kal-Tatri. This lake is so wonderful. If you come at the right time of year, Pickle Creek offers some fine whitewater.

These mountains rock, just explore all the entertaining stuff to do in the Ozarks. Take a hike on the Silver Mine Trail; people from Farmington love to come here. Dry warm beds await you at Holiday Inn Express Hotel & Suites Farmington,
Mo, and you might also want to pay a visit to Big Spring Hollow if you're here at Rainbow Lake. Summertime highs at Rainbow Lake commonly tend to be in the 80's with nighttime lows in the 60's. All through the winter highs are ordinarily
in the 40's, and through the dark hours in the wintertime at Rainbow Lake temperatures drop to the 10's.
If you want a wonderful time in the great outdoors just come on up to the Ozarks. Camping at State Of Missouri is always a nice experience; Super 8 Motel Farmington is a magnificent spot to get some rest.
