     After a long day outdoors Knights Inn Trenton is a splendid spot to spend a night or two, and a great location for whitewater paddling is South Fabius River. Crowder Lake is a nearby lake that you could visit; if you came for an overnight stay Countryside RV Park is a nice place to camp. Pine Lake is a good site of typical rain; throughout May this area sees the most rain; the driest month of the year is February. This lake is so wonderful. If you need a  
   site to stay Best Western Chillicothe Inn is a great choice, and you don’t have to go far from Pine Lake to make out the water at Davis Lake Dam.
During the summer months, highs ordinarily are in the 80's at Pine Lake. Once the sun is down it sinks down to the 60's. For the period of the wintertime highs are frequently in the 30's; after the sun is down through the wintertime temperatures at Pine Lake descend into the 10's. While you're here at Pine Lake,
 
               you could also pop by striking Trenton City Reservoir, and do stop by Middle Creek since you're here at Pine Lake. Just can't get enough of Pine Lake.

We really enjoy the creative home styles and freedom of native undisturbed land. One neighbor may have a quaint little cabin, the next a stilt home, another a couple tents with a picnic table and fire pit for the grandchildren to enjoy true nature at it's finest with mature trees standing, the next a large spacious home with pristine groomed yard, the next with a mobile home and wrap around porch. We came here from southwestern Florida where every house in a community was painted the same color and had basically all the same ammenities. Also we love having Crowder State Park next door to us. It is one of the most beautiful state parks we have ever been to. And a great place to spend the day hiking, picnicing and biking. Then in a few minutes you can be in the largest Amish community in the country. We have been to the Amish cafe buffet and bakery several times and shopped at the reduced grocery deli and the savings is well worth the trip.
