     New Florence Days Inn is a pleasant place to get some rest, and while you're here, you could also explore beautiful Carl Dreyer Lake. Easterday East Dam is an interesting thing to check out. You'll need more than a day to explore everything Pierson Lake has to offer, you can camp at Kan-Do Kampground and RV Park. And that's not all you can do here at Pierson Lake. After a long day outdoors Americas Best Inns-New Florence is a nice spot to spend a night or  
   two, and there are plenty of people from Mexico here.
For the period of the summer, highs generally are in the 80's at Pierson Lake. All through the moonlight hours it's generally in the 60's. High temperatures through the winter are normally in the 30's, and winter nights come with lows in the 10's to Pierson Lake. The yearly rainfall here at Pierson Lake is about average; the month of May is the wettest with most of the rain; the driest month of the year
 
               is January. This lake is so wonderful. Do go to Number 219 Reservoir in the vicinity of Pierson Lake, it's a beautiful lake. There's so much to do here at Pierson Lake that you need to camp here for a while, Lazy Day Campground is a fine place for that.

...rs and for whom this lot was better suited with multi-level cement areas and flower beds.

Lot 34 was a gravel pull through which was level and just fine. All lots have picnic tables and burn rings.

The owners, Kathy & Drew, were very helpful to us and very nice and accommodating. They plan family events for the campers and have a nice little store area for essentials. Just before we left, they were going to begin having homemade muffins and to-die-for cinnamon rolls at the store.

It is very dog friendly which is important to us.

The wi-fi works well and has an excellent signal.

The campground is easy to locate from I-70 Danville Exit and is quiet and has nice grounds including trails through the woods for hiking and enjoying nature. The swimming pool was closed for the winter as the weather was cool while we were there, so I didn't use the pool.

We did not use the bathrooms, showers or laundry facilities while there, though they do have them.

We would definitely stay there again and in fact do plan to stay there when going through the ...
