You can run the rapids of Taum Sauk Creek near Pershall Lake Upper, and a magnificent close by hotel is Super 8 Potosi. While you're here at Pershall Lake Upper, you could also go to stunning Pershall Lake Lower; obviously Mill Creek       is a lovely stream that is worth stopping at. This lake is so wonderful. Whohoo, so much cool stuff in one place! The Ozarks rules! Get your heart beating on the wonderful whitewater of Black River - East Fork, and do check out Pershall Lakes, it's a pretty lake. Pershall Lake Upper gets a good deal of water; through the month of March you get the most rain around here; the driest month of the year is January. You just can't imagine the amount of outdoors                  exciting things the Ozarks has to offer. Okkapassa Dam is worth taking a look at if you're here, and if you came to camp Parks Bluff Campground is a delightful place to do that.
