Ridge Campground is a nice place. This lake is so wonderful. Near Pershall Lake Lower you come across the Crane Lake Trail which is a nice hiking trail, and Taum Sauk Creek has a pleasant whitewater paddling spot close by.
Summer
brings highs in the 80's to Pershall Lake Lower. When the night sets in temperatures dip down into the 60's. Daytime highs through the wintertime are in the 40's while the cold winter nights at Pershall Lake Lower are in the 20's.
That right there is plenty of cool stuff already but it goes on, the Ozarks has it all. Pershall Lake Lower sees pretty high levels of precipitation; all through March this area sees the most rain, and the driest of the months is January.
