     Pershall Lake Lower is located in the Ozarks. Take a side trip to Mill Creek, and a stunning lake like Pershall Lake Upper is a great place to go to. And if that's not enough there's heaps more amusing stuff to do in the Ozarks. If you come at the right time of year, Black River - East Fork offers some great whitewater, and Sela Land Dam is an attention-grabbing thing to check out.
This lake is so wonderful. Going for a hike on the Taum Sauk Trail is
 
   always a pleasant adventure; a delightful location is Adkins Hollow. Now, you may believe that's a load but there's even more fun things to do here in the Ozarks. Whitewater paddling is not for everybody but if it's for you then we recommend Taum Sauk Creek, and Pershall Lakes is a good lake nearby. If only every place had this much outdoors exciting stuff, what a great world it would be. If you need a place to stay Super 8 Potosi is a great choice. There's  
               so much to do here at Pershall Lake Lower that you need to camp here for a while, Deer Creek Campground and River Outfitters is a good location for that.
You'll need more than a day to explore everything Pershall Lake Lower has to offer, you can camp at Bearcat Gateway, and there are tremendous places to explore along the Crane Lake Trail. This lake is so wonderful. Pershall Lake Lower regularly gets a great deal of rain; of all the months in a year March is the one with the most rain while January is regularly the driest month.
During the warm months here at Pershall Lake Lower, high temperatures frequently get into the 80's, and through the night it cools down to the 60's. The wintertime brings highs down to the 40's; night lows at Pershall Lake Lower during the winter typically descend into the 20's.

why drain a national park's lake? this is all we have up here and now there is little left! STOP the draining of our lake! there are animals dieing because of it! there was also more money spent here in north dakota when the lake was a lot fuller. come look and see what damage your stupid missouri is costing at the lake! i go there every year and more and more water is gone for what? notheing! now that there is not a lot of water left people have to find a a different place to go. they cant even keep there boats at fort stevenson because it is BONE DRY! missouri, you need to close down your falls because there is more money made here and it not fair that a NATIONAL PARK Can Not survive because of you!! there should be no reason why a NAtional park should close. also the lake was here before your stupid idea even came around. there for it is our right to protect what we have:our future,homes, and last but not least, our lake and population....
