Get soaked paddling on Castor River, and after a long day outdoors Microtel Inn and Suites Sainte Genevieve is a good place to spend a night or two. And if that's not enough, there's a lot more to do close to Parker Lake. If you came to camp Perryville/Cape Girardeau KOA is a great location to do that. Parker Lake is located in the Ozarks. This lake is so wonderful. There's so much       to do here at Parker Lake that you need to camp here for a while, K O A Kampgrounds is a pleasant location for that, and Comfort Inn Perryville is a perfect site to get some rest. Now, you may assume that's lots but there's even more amusing things to do here in the Ozarks. Drift down the rapids of Pickle Creek in a kayak, and hiking along the John J Audubon Trail is pleasant fun. The warmest time of the year brings highs in the 80's to Parker Lake. Throughout                  the dark hours of summer temperatures drop down into the 60's. For the duration of the wintertime this place gets highs in the 30's, and through the dark hours in the wintertime at Parker Lake temperatures plunge to the 10's. Why not visit The Lost Seven Lake Dam since you're here; close by you hit upon good places like Anderson Hollow.
