For the period of the summertime here at Otahki Lake, high temperatures generally reach the 80's, and the overnight is rather chillier of course, commonly in the 60's. The wintertime comes with highs in the 40's with winter lows in the 20's overnight here at Otahki Lake. Any time is a great time at Otahki Lake if you fancy the outdoors. If you came to camp Sam A Baker State Park is a pleasant place to do that, and paddling on St. Francis River is so much
fun. So many enjoyable things in the Ozarks, just amazing. Camping at Holliday Landing Resort is always a nice experience; since you're here, you could also check out stunning Collins Lake.
This lake is so wonderful. Get dripping wet paddling on Big Creek, and the Silver Mine Trail is a great hiking trail close by. And that's not everything there is to do here in the Ozarks. Lake Potashnik is a nearby lake that you could have a look at; on a tremendous day

you can take a hike along the Crane Lake Trail. This lake is located in the wonderful Ozarks.
This lake is so wonderful. Some of the water close by flows, like Big Creek. If you need a place to stay Super 8 Poplar Bluff Missouri is a wonderful choice, and here at Otahki Lake you can see Crowley Hill. Otahki Lake is close to Otahki Lake Dam which is a beautiful place undeniably worth visiting, and if the weather is wonderful, you can go for a hike along the Johnson Natural Area Backpack Trail.
The high level of precipitation makes Otahki Lake a rather wet place; March is the month that gets the most rain, and January is when it's the driest.

St. Francis River
It's awesome....

Big Creek
I kayaked the big creek May 5 at 3ft from Des Arc to Sam A. Baker take out at 143 bridge, it was an 11 mile float and very enjoible for Missouri waters. There were whitewater sections about every 1/4 mile and was all under class II, the rock gardens kept me on my toes but was not difficult at all. I would recomend trying this creek (river) to anyone seeking excitment and is not to experienced to try the St. Francis. Cheers!...

Lower Rock Creek
13 miles away
Been here and there is not a good put-in site for a boat.  The creek is one mile from where you can park a car unless it's right next to the St Francis river and that means you won't be kayaking down this creek.  Which is impossible unless there is serious rainfall....
