Water Works Lake Dam is not far at all from Old Reservoir, and if you've had enough of Old Reservoir, Johnson Lake is close by. Yep, outdoors fun things to do are truly plentiful here at Old Reservoir. Camping at Murphy Lakes is always a glorious experience. Moberly Super 8 Motel is a great spot to get some rest; Old Reservoir is not the only place nearby, Rothwell Lake is a nearby lake.       For the duration of the long summer days, highs usually are in the 80's at Old Reservoir. For the duration of the moonlight hours it's generally in the 60's. Through the winter highs are in the 30's with winter lows in the 10's overnight here at Old Reservoir. Camping is available at Macs Cove, and you'll almost certainly meet some people from Moberly here. From a rain point of view Old Reservoir is a pretty normal place; the month with most of the rain is May, and                  February is the month with the least moisture. This lake is so wonderful.
