    It's always fun to stop by Old Number 1 Reservoir. Be careful coming to Old Number 1 Reservoir, you might not ever want to go back home again. Hiking along the Taum Sauk Trail is great fun, and Potosi Super 8 Motel is a wonderful place to get some rest. This lake is so wonderful. Old Number 1 Reservoir is not far at all from Farmington; Long Hollow is a good place to take a look at. So many exciting things to do in the Ozarks, not sufficient time.

   site, the Ozarks, has so much outdoors amusing stuff. Whitewater paddling is not for everyone but if it's for you then we recommend Stouts Creek, and you can have a glorious hiking adventure along the Trace Creek Trail. Throughout the warm days of summer at Old Number 1 Reservoir temperatures are ordinarily in the 90's. Summer overnight lows descend down to the 60's. For the duration of the wintertime the highs are ordinarily in the 40's, and during the dark  
               hours in the wintertime at Old Number 1 Reservoir temperatures fall to the 10's. After a long day outdoors Austin Inn is a wonderful location to spend a night or two, and why not take a little trip to East Branch Mill Creek if you're here.
A common amount of precipitation falls here at Old Number 1 Reservoir; during May this area sees the most rain; January on the other hand is the driest. Camping is available at Wild Boar Ridge Campground, also Black Tailings Dam is worth a visit while you're here. The Ozarks scenery is always beautiful.
