Kan-Do Kampground and RV Park is a tremendous campground nearby, and Irvin Beabout Lake is a nearby lake that you could take a look at. Sturgeon Lake Dam is not far at all from Nobles Lake, and don't forget to take a splendid little spree to Smith Branch. Nobles Lake is a delightful site to visit for more than one day, Lazy Day Campground is a delightful site to camp nearby, and after a long day outdoors New Florence Days Inn is a perfect place to spend a night

| | or two. Summertime brings highs in the 80's to Nobles Lake. Summer night lows dip down to the 60's. The winter comes with highs in the 30's; through the dark hours in the wintertime at Nobles Lake temperatures drop to the 10's.

...rs and for whom this lot was better suited with multi-level cement areas and flower beds.
Lot 34 was a gravel pull through which was level and just fine. All lots have picnic tables and burn rings.
The owners, Kathy & Drew, were very helpful to us and very nice and accommodating. They plan family events for the campers and have a nice little store area for essentials. Just before we left, they were going to begin having homemade muffins and to-die-for cinnamon rolls at the store.
It is very dog friendly which is important to us.
The wi-fi works well and has an excellent signal.
The campground is easy to locate from I-70 Danville Exit and is quiet and has nice grounds including trails through the woods for hiking and enjoying nature. The swimming pool was closed for the winter as the weather was cool while we were there, so I didn't use the pool.
We did not use the bathrooms, showers or laundry facilities while there, though they do have them.
We would definitely stay there again and in fact do plan to stay there when going through the ... |
