Summer brings highs in the 80's to Nichols Lake. During the dark hours of summer temperatures sink down into the 60's. The cold days of the wintertime come with highs in the 40's with winter lows in the 20's overnight here at Nichols Lake. There's so much to do here at Nichols Lake that you need to camp here for a while, McCormack Lake Campground is a brilliant place for that, and let's       not forget Seaman Creek which is a stream that you may run into while you're here. Nichols Lake is a beautiful lake in the Ozarks. You clearly should love the Ozarks. If you haven’t been to Ozark National Scenic River, you must schedule some time for it if you're here; if you came to camp Greer Campground is a glorious location to do that. This lake is so wonderful. Go for a hike on the Blue Ridge Trail.
