Newman Lake is a lake worth visiting. Newman Lake is wonderful enough to spend more than a day at, Blue Mountain Methodist Camp is a wonderful local campground, and you can go for a hike on the Silver Mine Trail. This place is great, just look at all the fun stuff to do next to Newman Lake. If you need a place to stay Holiday Inn Express Hotel & Suites Farmington, Mo is a delightful choice, and Madison County Country Club is a glorious golf course nearby. Newman

| | Lake is located in the Ozarks.
This lake is so wonderful. Going for a hike on the John J Audubon Trail is always a pleasant adventure; in the event that you don't mind getting drenched, you can always go whitewater paddling on Castor River. A short trip to White Spring is always worthwhile. There's so much to do here at Newman Lake that you need to camp here for a while, Pine Crest Camp is a pleasant spot for that. the summer are in the 80's, and through the night it cools down to the 60's. For the period of the wintertime the highs are frequently in the 30's, and nighttime lows at Newman Lake through the winter mostly dip into the 10's.

March is the month that gets the most rain, and the driest month of the year is January. So many exciting things to do here in the Ozarks, too glorious to be true. Why not check out Newman Lake Dam if you're here. Man, is there a
lot of cool things to do in the Ozarks. Brown Lake is a nearby lake that you could check out, and whitewater paddling is nice on Little St. Francis River.
