This lake is located in the wonderful Ozarks. Summertime brings highs in the 90's to Mountain Lake. Once the sun is down it sinks down to the 60's. The wintertime brings highs down to the 40's; night lows at Mountain Lake during the winter usually plunge into the 10's. Mountain Lake Dam has great water scenery and it's in the vicinity of Mountain Lake, and why not take a refreshing hike along the       Crane Lake Trail. If you want a great time in the great outdoors, just come on down to Mountain Lake. The Johnson Natural Area Backpack Trail offers hiking at its best, and Holliday Landing Resort is a good local campground. This lake is so wonderful.
