Mountain Lake is a beautiful lake in the Ozarks. Mountain Lake is a wet place that gets a good deal of rain; December is the month that gets the most rain; January is the month with the least moisture. All the outdoors enjoyable stuff next to Mountain Lake will keep you coming back repeatedly. Near Mountain Lake you discover the Crane Lake Trail which is a splendid hiking trail. This lake is so wonderful. Mountain       Lake is a nice place to visit for more than one day, Holliday Landing Resort is a nice place to camp nearby, and Daffron Mountain is simple to spot from Mountain Lake. You can run the rapids of Big Creek in the vicinity of Mountain Lake; the scenery at Mountain Lake Dam is scenic. For the period of the months of summer here at Mountain Lake, high temperatures ordinarily reach the 90's. Throughout the moonlight hours it's frequently in the 60's. The cold days                  of the winter come with highs in the 40's, and overnight lows during the winter for Mountain Lake tend to be in the 10's. Black River is a pleasant whitewater spot right next door to Mountain Lake; Sam A Baker State Park is a fine local campground. But wait, there's more entertaining stuff to do in the Ozarks.
