This lake is so wonderful. Sunrise Lake is a brilliant lake near Mountain Lake, and Mountain Lake Dam is a delightful location, definitely worth going to. The Ozarks scenery is always beautiful. Yep, outdoors cool things to do are really plentiful here at Mountain Lake. If you need a place to stay Log Cabin Inn is a great choice. Going for a hike on the Crane Lake Trail is always a nice adventure, and paddling on Black       River is so much fun. After a long day outdoors Bluffview Motel & Restaurant is a pleasant site to spend a night or two, and at Mountain Lake you can spot Daffron Mountain. Mountain Lake is a wet location that gets a good deal of rain; the month of December is the wettest with most of the rain, and January meanwhile is the driest month. Throughout the long summer days at Mountain Lake highs are generally in the 90's, and during the night it cools down                  to the 60's. The winter comes with highs in the 40's with winter lows in the 10's overnight here at Mountain Lake. Now, you may feel that's a load but there's even more entertaining stuff to do here in the Ozarks.
