Daytime highs during the winter are in the 30's with temperatures at Monroe Lake A dipping down into the 10's all through winter nights. This lake is so wonderful. A great close       by hotel is Quality Inn & Suites. Lakes are splendid; Monroe Lake B is a lake that's next to Monroe Lake A. Monroe Lake A is a good spot of common rain; July is the month that gets the most rain; the driest month of the year is February. You believe that's sufficient? Just getting warmed up. Monroe Lake A is not far at all from Hannibal, and going for a hike along the Lick Creek Trail will let you absorb the natural beauty of this region. You can take a                  little spree to City of Monroe Dam A since you're here at Monroe Lake A, and if you came for an overnight stay Hillbillys Campground & Genera is a perfect spot to camp.
