     The scenery at Bowman Lake Dam near Mononame 67 Lake is stunning, and Mononame 67 Lake is great enough to spend more than a day at, Scenic 63 RV Park is a great local campground. Mononame 67 Lake gets a normal amount of rainfall; of all the months in a year May is the one with the most rain, and the driest month is January. But wait, there's more amusing stuff to do in the Ozarks. On a lovely day you get a vista of House Mounds from Mononame 67 Lake.

You could also have a look at Murphy Lake since you're here at Mononame 67 Lake; it's nearby; camping at Arlington River Resort is always a brilliant experience. Mononame 67 Lake is located in the Ozarks. Having a great time in the Ozarks is easy. Baymont Inn and Suites Rolla is a delightful place to get some rest, and Mononame 67 Lake is a place with many visitors from Rolla.
After a long day outdoors
 
               Comfort Suites Rolla is a perfect location to spend a night or two, and do take a hike on the Kaintuck Trail. This lake is so wonderful. A lake close by is Charwood Lake, and some of the water nearby flows, like Little Fly Creek. Summertime at Mononame 67 Lake arrives with high temperatures in the 90's, and during summer nights temperatures are in the 60's. High temperatures during the wintertime are normally in the 30's, and during the dark hours in the wintertime at Mononame 67 Lake temperatures descend to the 10's.

Kaintuck Trail

...bridge. From the bottom it looks like a large, deep cave through which light doesn't travel because of a bend in the tunnel. Follow the trail around the hill and you will find the other opening. Next time I will bring a flashlight so that I can explore a little.

The trails are popular with horseback riders and are as wide as sidewalks most of the time. In most places and the footing is good. A small percentage of the trail is made up of loose rock that can be bad for a weak ankle.

My only complaint is that the map I have is not accurate and the markers on the trees don't lend much confidence. Today I wound up walking an extra two hours because of a wrong turn. Looking at the Internet maps, I still can't find the path I was walking or the fenced meadows. In one spot the trail went through a chained gate. I didn't know if I would be trespassing so I turned right, followed a path around the field and found myself on some dirt road that is not marked. Maybe the next time the park service is out clearing fallen trees or doing their controlled burns they can tack up...
