For the period of the warm months highs here at Monahan Lake reach the 80's. Once the sun is down it plunges down to the 60's. The winter comes with highs in the 40's, and nighttime lows at Monahan Lake throughout the winter regularly dip into the 10's. All year is a wonderful time in the Ozarks if you have a thing about the outdoors. Do go to Tragden Lake close to Monahan Lake, it's a picturesque lake,       and fine hiking is available along the John J Audubon Trail. This lake is so wonderful. If you need a spot to stay Super 8 Farmington is a brilliant choice, and St. Francis River is a glorious whitewater spot close by. Life's too short to enjoy all the fun things in the Ozarks. You're sure to come across some great folks from Farmington here, and Moynihan Lake Dam has pleasant water scenery. If you're here at Monahan Lake, you could visit Camp Creek,                  and camping is available at Cherokee Landing. Eagle Lake Golf Club is a tremendous golf course close by, and a wonderful place to camp here at Monahan Lake is St Joe State Park. This lake is so wonderful. A wonderful nearby hotel is Holiday Inn Express Hotel & Suites FARMINGTON, and you can run the rapids of Pickle Creek. Having a wonderful time at Monahan Lake is easy. Go for a hike on the Silver Mine Trail, and while you're here, you could also explore pretty Kimmel Lake.
