If you need a location to stay La Quinta Inn and Suites Kansas City Airport is a good choice, and as expected, this is a delightful area for folks who like lakes, Adkison Lake is a lake in the neighborhood. This lake is so wonderful. If you're here at Mirror Lake and you like golf, you can go to National Golf Club; during your spree here you'll meet some folks from Kansas City for sure. Whohoo, so much amusing stuff in one place! Mirror Lake rocks! Whitewater

| | paddling is not for everyone but if it's for you then we recommend Blue River; you can take a little trip to Adkison Lake Dam since you're here at Mirror Lake. The yearly rain here at Mirror Lake is about average; most of the rain falls during May; February on the other hand is the driest.

wintertime this place gets highs in the 30's; winter nights come with lows in the 10's to Mirror Lake. Mirror Lake is a brilliant site to visit for more than one day, Woodland Acres is a brilliant site to camp nearby, and since you
might be in a lake visiting mood you can always go to close by Enoch Lake. If you want to go to some exciting stuff, go to Little Platte Bend, and don't forget to take a nice little tour to Nearman Creek.
This lake is so wonderful.
Stay the night at Basswood Country Resort, and you can never get enough of the good skiing at Snow Creek. If you come at the right time of year, Kansas River offers some perfect whitewater, and Super 8 Kansas City KCI Airport is a great place to get some rest.
