So many entertaining things to do here in the Ozarks, too great to be true. A delightful nearby hotel is Americas Best Value Inn/Perryville, of course you could also visit Lake Minnie Ha-Ha       Lower while you're here; it's not far at all. An average amount of rainfall falls at Minnehaha Lake; the wettest month of the year is usually May, that's the one that rains the most while January is usually the driest month. Summertime at Minnehaha Lake comes with high temperatures in the 80's, and the nighttime is quite chillier of course, frequently in the 60's. For the period of the winter highs are regularly in the 30's with temperatures at Minnehaha Lake dipping                  down into the 10's during winter nights. Perryville/Cape Girardeau KOA is a perfect local campground, and Minnehaha Lake is not the only spot nearby, Lake Minnie Ha-Ha Upper is a nearby lake. This lake is so wonderful. Glide down the rapids of Pickle Creek in a kayak, and not far from Minnehaha Lake you get some nice water scenery at Lake Minnie Ha-Ha Upper Dam. This lake is so wonderful. Going for a hike on the John J Audubon Trail is always a nice adventure, and why not a little side spree to Dry Saline Creek. Man, is there plenty of enjoyable stuff to do in the Ozarks.
