The beauty of Mine Lamotte Lake is reason enough to stop by. Mine Lamotte Lake is a beautiful lake in the Ozarks. This lake is so wonderful. A magnificent place to camp here at Mine Lamotte Lake is St Joe State Park, and Castle Rock is something you shouldn't miss while you're here. But wait, there's more cool stuff to do in the Ozarks. For you golfers we recommend close by Madison County Country Club, and get yourself into a kayak and hit Little St. Francis

| | River. Mine Lamotte Lake gets a normal amount of annual rainfall; March is the month that gets the most rain, and the driest month is January. There is a great hiking trail in close proximity to Mine Lamotte Lake called the John J Audubon Trail; there are some perfect whitewater spots on Turkey Creek.
