What a place this is for outdoors people. Golf can be played at L A Nickell Golf Course; a lake close by is Coats Lake. You can run the rapids of Hinkson Creek in the vicinity of Memar Lake, and Little Leech Lake is a nearby lake that you could pop by. During the days of summer highs here at Memar Lake get       into the 80's while nighttime lows are ordinarily in the 60's. The winter brings highs down to the 30's while Memar Lake night low temperatures during the winter are in the 10's. Memar Lake is good enough to spend more than a day at, Cottonwoods RV Park is a good local campground, and there's always Little Leech Dam to explore in the vicinity of Memar Lake. The annual precipitation here at Memar Lake is about average; all through the month of May you get                  the most rain around here, and the driest of the months is January. This lake is so wonderful.
