What a nice lake McKay Lake is. This lake is so wonderful. Dry warm beds await you at Hannibal Super 8 Motel, and if you like swamps you're in luck, Bay De Charles is right close by. This lake is so wonderful. O'Conner Pond is a magnificent lake in the neighborhood of McKay Lake; paddling on Fall Creek is so much fun. Rickey Hollow is a great location to pop by nearby, and drift down the rapids of Cedar Creek in a kayak.

| | is a nice spot to spend a night or two, and American Legion Golf Course is a brilliant golf course nearby. Be careful coming to McKay Lake, you might not ever want to return back home again. Harrison Hill is pretty and can be observed from McKay Lake, and McKay Dam is not far at all from McKay Lake.

than a day to explore everything McKay Lake has to offer, you can camp at Injun Joe Campground, and you'll meet a lot of folks from Hannibal here. Summertime highs at McKay Lake mostly tend to be in the 80's. Through the dark hours
of summer temperatures fall down into the 60's. The wintertime comes with highs in the 30's with temperatures at McKay Lake dipping down into the 10's during winter nights.
A picturesque lake like Charles Ransdell Lake near McKay Lake is a glorious spot to visit, and you can stay the night at Bayview Camper's Park.
