Daytime highs all through the wintertime are in the 40's while McCormack Lake overnight low temperatures through the winter are in the 20's. This lake is so wonderful. McCormack Lake is glorious enough to spend more than a day at, McCormack Lake Campground is a glorious local campground, and Ozark National Scenic River is a very fine       site to stop at. All the water falling down from the sky makes McCormack Lake a wet location; the month of May is the wettest with most of the rain, and the driest month is January. Near McCormack Lake you come across delightful spots like Becky Hollow; McCormack Lake Dam is wonderful. McCormack Lake is located in the Ozarks. There's just no way someone can get bored here at McCormack Lake. Don't leave McCormack Lake without first going for a hike along the                  Blue Ridge Trail, and most likely you're looking for close by lakes? Sure, Flat Pond is just a very short distance away. So much fun stuff to do in the Ozarks, not enough time. There's some flowing water nearby, Greer Spring Branch is a stream you can explore while here It's always magnificent to pop by Bellah Falls. You could also go to Brushy Pond while you're here at McCormack Lake; it's close by, and a tremendous spot to camp here at McCormack Lake is Greer Campground.
