There's so much to do here at McCloskey Lake that you need to camp here for a while, Camp Brim Shire is a splendid site for that, and Egan Lake is a nearby lake that you could have  
   a look at.
This lake is so wonderful. The scenery at McCloskey Lake Dam near McCloskey Lake is delightful; dry warm beds await you at Days Inn And Suites St James. This lake is one of the great places here in the Ozarks. Any time is a wonderful time at McCloskey Lake if you adore the outdoors. If you came to camp Meramec Valley Camp Resort is a pleasant place to do that.

               to stay Super 8 Cuba is a great choice, and let's not forget Clear Creek which is a stream that you may bump into while here. During the summertime months highs here at McCloskey Lake get into the 80's. All through the moonlight hours it's usually in the 60's. The wintertime comes with highs in the 30's; overnight lows at McCloskey Lake through the winter typically plunge into the 10's.

Tea Lakes is a 210 acre conservation area located 6 1/2 miles south of Rosebud, Mo. on Highway T. You may visit the area during the day and talk to David Jordan the area caretaker. There are 5 fishing lakes, primitive campsites, playground, MO. Native/Plants of Merit garden recognized by the Missouri Botanical Gardens in St. Louis, Mo., boy and girl scout camping areas, shelters for picnics and gatherings. There are several hiking trails, however, we are in the process of remapping these trails and some will not be usable for the summer. This is a small organization and a small membership fee is required in order to use the facilities after the initial trial/camp/visit. We welcome anyone who is conservation minded, wants a place to visit away from the hustle and bustle of the city and just enjoys the great outdoors.
