Dry warm beds await you at Holiday Inn POPLAR BLUFF, and Eagle Bluff is an out of the ordinary place to visit while at Markham Springs Reservoir. Go for a hike on the Lost Creek Nature Trail. This lake is so wonderful. Whitewater paddling is not for everyone but if it's for you then we recommend Black River. You'll need more than a day to discover everything Markham Springs Reservoir has to offer, you can camp at Holliday Landing       Resort. Throughout the long summer days at Markham Springs Reservoir temperatures are commonly in the 90's. For the duration of the dark hours of summer temperatures plunge down into the 60's. Daytime highs through the winter are in the 40's, and overnight lows in the 10's for Markham Springs Reservoir. Not enough hours in a day to enjoy this site. There's whitewater on Big Creek for all you adrenaline junkies, and there are other locations here than Markham                  Springs Reservoir, for example Markham Spring Pond. While staying at Markham Springs Reservoir you could always discover Bull Run Hollow, and it's a magnificent idea to take a look at Brushy Creek. There's so much to do here at Markham Springs Reservoir that you need to camp here for a while, Sam A Baker State Park is a fine spot for that. This lake is one of the great places here in the Ozarks. A good deal of precipitation falls at Markham Springs Reservoir; all through the month of December you get the most rain around here while January is commonly the driest month. Super 8 Poplar Bluff Missouri is a pleasant site to get some rest, and there are nice sites to discover along the Johnson Natural Area Backpack Trail. Life's too short to enjoy all the enjoyable stuff in the Ozarks.
