Many people like to go to Markham Spring Pond. At Markham Spring Pond during the summertime highs are in the 90's. Once the sun is down it drops down to the 60's. During the winter highs are in the 40's; overnight lows all through the winter for Markham Spring Pond tend to be in the 10's. This lake is so wonderful. Markham Spring Pond sees pretty high levels of rain; December is the month that gets the most rain; January on the other hand is the driest. Go for a hike on the Johnson Natural Area Backpack Trail; a spree to Markham Spring will fill your spirit with good feelings. The Ozarks scenery is always beautiful. Sam A Baker State Park is a glorious local campground, and
if you need a place to stay Holiday Inn POPLAR BLUFF is a great choice. This lake is so wonderful. Good hiking is available along the Lost Creek Nature Trail; if you want to have a look at some attention-grabbing stuff, have a look
at Eagle Bluff.
Man, is there a lot of fun things to do close to Markham Spring Pond. Dry warm beds await you at SUPER 8 MOTEL - POPLAR BLUFF, and some of the water nearby flows, like Brushy Creek.
