Why not camp at Greer Campground while you're here at Marg Pond; why not take a little spree to Sycamore Creek while you're here. Big Hollow is a delightful location to spend some time at, and if you need a spot to stay Days Inn Doniphan is a magnificent choice. Camping is available at McCormack Lake Campground, and going for a hike along the Blue Ridge Trail will let you absorb the natural beauty of this area. Marg Pond is a wet       location that gets lots of rain; during May this area sees the most rain while January is usually the driest month. These mountains rock, just look at all the amusing things to do in the Ozarks. Lakes are such serene places, why not stop by Nichols Lake close to Marg Pond; going to Ozark National Scenic River is just something you need to do if you haven't yet. Summertime brings highs in the 80's to Marg Pond while nighttime lows are usually in the 60's. Through                  the winter highs are in the 40's while the cold winter nights at Marg Pond are in the 20's. There's just no way someone can get bored here at Marg Pond.
