From a rain point of view Mallard Lake is a quite common place; through March this area sees the most rain, and January is the month with the least moisture. So much fun stuff to do in the Ozarks, not sufficient time. Not far from Mallard Lake, you'll locate Whitewood Lake which is a stunning lake, and after a long       day outdoors Comfort Inn Perryville is a nice location to spend a night or two. The Ozarks scenery is always beautiful. Camping is available at K O A Kampgrounds, and Americas Best Value Inn/Perryville is a delightful location to get some rest. All through the long summer days highs here at Mallard Lake reach the 80's. Through the moonlight hours it's generally in the 60's. The cold days of the wintertime come with highs in the 30's, and during the dark                  hours in the wintertime at Mallard Lake temperatures sink to the 10's. Yeah, come here to Mallard Lake for a delightful time. You can run the rapids of Castor River near Mallard Lake, and Mallard Lake is right by the John J Audubon Trail. This lake is so wonderful. Lakes? Sure, Port Perry Number 2 Lake is around here, and there's always Mallard Lake Dam to visit right next door to Mallard Lake. There's no way anybody can get bored here in the Ozarks.
