A nice location to camp here at Long Lake is Possum Pete's RV Park; do go to Brushy Mound Lake, it's a wonderful lake. This lake is so wonderful. After a long day outdoors Days Inn Butler is a great place to spend a night or two, and a good nearby hotel is Super 8 Butler. For the duration of the summertime highs here at Long       Lake get into the 90's, and throughout the night it cools down to the 60's. Throughout the winter highs are in the 30's, and night lows through the wintertime for Long Lake tend to be in the 10's.
