You'll need more than a day to look at everything Lloyd Lake North has to offer, you can camp at Valley View Mobile Home Park. Get your heart beating on the wonderful whitewater of Bear Creek. This lake is so wonderful. A lake close by is Lloyd Lake South, and if you need a spot to stay Comfort Inn Canton is a brilliant choice. There's some flowing water close by, Artesian Branch

what a great globe it would be. There are plenty of people from Quincy here at Lloyd Lake North, and at Lock and Dam Number Twenty near Lloyd Lake North there are some attention-grabbing things to see. A tremendous place for whitewater
paddling close to Lloyd Lake North is Cedar Creek, and Days Inn Quincy is a good location to get some rest.

Cedar Creek
 | 13 miles away 1 PHOTO In response to keith's note. I've kayaked Cedar Creek several times. During heavy rain events the creek is VERY wild. And while yes it is bony, it's a fun ride.. especially since it's one of the only places to get above a class II ride around quincy. Additionally, DO NOT go to bear creek unless you plan on doing some flat water near where it meets the mississippi river. Any further upstream and you'll be dealing with hostile landowners who aren't aware of the navigability laws in illinois. You'll probably be met by a sherrif on the take out.
