Do stop by Limel Lake while you're in this part of Missouri. This lake is so wonderful. Summertime highs at Limel Lake usually tend to be in the 80's, and the overnight is somewhat colder of course, mostly in the 60's. For the period of the winter highs are in the 40's while Limel Lake night low temperatures during the wintertime are in the 20's. Limel Lake is located in the Ozarks.

| | is a glorious hiking trail close to Limel Lake called the Taum Sauk Trail, and nearby you come across the John J Audubon Trail which is a perfect hiking trail. In the event that you don't mind getting dripping wet, you can always go whitewater paddling on St. Francis River, and Black Oak Flat is a brilliant site here at Limel Lake. On a perfect day at Limel Lake you can take a hike along the Silver Mine Trail, and St Joe State Park is a perfect local campground.

This lake is so wonderful. Limel Lake is a glorious place to visit for more than one day, Cherokee Landing is a glorious place to camp nearby; if you need a place to stay Holiday Inn Express Hotel & Suites Farmington, Mo is a wonderful
choice. Now, you may feel that's a lot but there's even more enjoyable things to do here in the Ozarks. Shannon Dam is an out of the ordinary thing to check out, and since you're here you will meet lots of people from close by Farmington.
From a rainfall point of view Limel Lake is a rather typical location; during the month of March you get the most rain around here; January on the other hand is the driest.
