In the event that you don’t have a problem getting dripping wet, you can always go whitewater paddling on Taum Sauk Creek, and Lily Pond is a great spot to visit for more than one day, Bearcat Gateway is a great spot to camp nearby. A good panorama of pretty Round Hill is available from Lily Pond; as expected, all our national parks are perfect locations to visit and Ozark National Scenic River is no exception.       Lily Pond is a quite wet place frequently with a large amount of rainfall; most of the rain falls during November; the driest month of the year is January. Stay the night at Deer Creek Campground and River Outfitters, and Bowles Hollow is undeniably a magnificent place to stop by. So many enjoyable things in the Ozarks, just impressive. There are other locations here than Lily Pond, for example Bowles Pond; Black River - East Fork is a good whitewater spot                  nearby. And that's not all you can do here in the Ozarks. This lake is so wonderful. Not far from Lily Pond, you'll come across Vinson Pond which is a gorgeous lake, and let's not forget Vinson Branch which is a stream that you may come across during your stay. During the warm months at Lily Pond temperatures are regularly in the 80's; throughout summer nights temperatures are in the 60's. Throughout the winter highs are in the 40's, and during the dark hours in the winter at Lily Pond temperatures fall to the 20's.
