At Lewis and Clark Lake through the summer highs are in the 80's while night lows are typically in the 60's. The winter comes with highs in the 30's, and winter nights come with lows in the 10's to Lewis and Clark Lake. Be careful coming to Lewis and Clark Lake, you might not ever wanna go home again. Super 8 Atchison is a wonderful place to get some rest, and obviously Sugar Creek is a scenic stream that is worth       stopping at. The skiing at Snow Creek is perfect; a lake close by is Mud Lake. Lewis and Clark Lake gets a common amount of rain; of all the months in a year September is the one with the most rain, and January is the month with the least moisture. If you came for an overnight stay Oak Lane Campground is a fine site to camp. This lake is so wonderful. Lewis and Clark Lake is not the only place nearby, Dead Mans Hole is a nearby lake, and an afternoon playing                  golf at Bellevue Country Club is always a pleasure. If you need a place to stay Americinn - Atchison, Ks is a fine choice, also Dead Mans Hole Dam is worth checking out while you're here.
