All through the warm days of summer here at Lake of the Ozarks, high temperatures commonly get into the 80's. Through the dark hours of summer temperatures dip down into the 60's. Daytime highs throughout the winter are in the 40's with temperatures at Lake of the Ozarks dipping down into the 10's during winter nights. This lake is so wonderful. A fine nearby hotel is The Resort at Port       Arrowhead, and if you came for an overnight stay Camp Bagnell is a magnificent place to camp. Lake of the Ozarks gets a common amount of rain; May is the wettest month with most rain, and the driest month of the year is January. And if that's not sufficient, there's loads more to do in close proximity to Lake of the Ozarks. Playing golf is lots of fun at Bear Creek Valley Golf Club; Lazy is a tremendous campground nearby. Osage Dam is lovely and it's next                  to Lake of the Ozarks; if you're here, you might as well stop by Hudson Hollow. The Ozarks scenery is always beautiful. East Fork Little Gravois Creek is one of the streams close by that might be worth going to, and at Lake of the Ozarks you can observe Wilson Hill. Now, you may feel that's lots but there's even more exciting stuff to do here in the Ozarks. And if that's not enough there's loads more entertaining things to do in the Ozarks.
