     If you want a fine time in the great outdoors, just come on down to Lake of the Hills. This lake is located in the wonderful Ozarks. Hiking along the Boardwalk Nature Trail is nice fun; not far from Lake of the Hills you acquire some good water scenery at Lake of the Hills Dam.
The high level of precipitation makes Lake of the Hills a rather wet place; most of the rain falls during March, and January is when it's the driest. This lake is so wonderful.
 
   A perfect place to camp here at Lake of the Hills is Barks Plantation, and obviously, this is a glorious vicinity for folks who like lakes, Virgin Creek Lake is a lake close by. Yeah, come up here to the Ozarks for a good time. You're in all probability into lakes, Whippoorwill Lake is one of those close by, and dry warm beds await you at Americas Best Value Inn-Dexter.
High temperatures at Lake of the Hills during the days of summer are in the 90's with nighttime
 
               lows in the 60's. The cold days of the winter come with highs in the 40's, and nighttime lows at Lake of the Hills through the wintertime mostly fall into the 10's. Camping at Whippoorwill Lake is always a brilliant experience; in case you don’t have a problem getting soaked, you can always go whitewater paddling on Castor River.
