What a spot this is for outdoors folks. Camping at Lake Virginia is magnificent fun, Maple Leaf RV is a magnificent local campground, and if you're here you will meet lots of folks from nearby Farmington. That right there is a heap of fun things already but it goes on, the Ozarks has it all. High temperatures at Lake Virginia during the long summer days are in the 80's while nighttime       lows are frequently in the 60's. Throughout the winter this place gets highs in the 30's with temperatures at Lake Virginia dipping down into the 10's during winter nights. Be careful coming to the Ozarks, you might not ever wanna go back home again. If you're here at Lake Virginia, you could take a look at Dry Creek; not far from Lake Virginia you get some wonderful water scenery at Lake Virginia Dam. This lake is so wonderful. Head up to Hidden Valley and                  strap some skis to your feet, and a golf course close by is Joachim Golf Course. A normal amount of rain falls here at Lake Virginia; all through the month of May you get the most rain around here, and January meanwhile is the driest month. Lake Virginia is one of the lakes here in the Ozarks. Dry warm beds await you at Baymont Inn & Suites St. Louis/Festus; a lake nearby is Williams Lake.
