Not sufficient hours in a day to enjoy this place. If you need a place to stay Holiday Inn Express Salem is a great choice, and Pine Crest Campground is a great local campground. This lake is so wonderful. Not far from Lake Turner, you'll hit upon Bass Lake which is a charming lake, and Lake Turner Dam is a place that is close to Lake Turner. Throughout the warmest time of the       year, highs frequently are in the 80's at Lake Turner, and during summer nights temperatures are in the 60's. The cold days of the wintertime come with highs in the 30's, and nighttime lows at Lake Turner during the wintertime regularly sink into the 10's. An average amount of rain falls at Lake Turner; the month with most of the rain is May, and the driest of the months is January. This lake is one of the great places here in the Ozarks. Not enough hours in                  a day to enjoy the Ozarks. A tremendous close by hotel is Days Inn And Suites St James, and why not camp at Montauk State Park if you're here at Lake Turner. Good hiking is available along the Wagon Trace.
